FLG Surreal Discovery
A New Way to Color, Observe, and Discover
FLG Surreal Discovery is an adult coloring book line created by FLG Creative Books, an imprint of FLG Publisher LLC, with the purpose of transforming every illustration into an experience of imagination, focus, and visual discovery.
This collection was born from a simple but powerful idea: a coloring page can offer much more than a beautiful image. It can also tell a story, hide a second interpretation, transform one object into another, and lead the viewer into worlds that seem possible at first glance but reveal something unexpected when observed more closely.
Each book combines elegant surrealism, visual metamorphosis, optical illusions, impossible architecture, imaginative landscapes, hidden elements, and geometric structures naturally integrated into the composition. In these pages, a staircase may become a waterfall, a tree may gradually transform into a city, a room may open into an ocean, and a flower may contain an entire world.
The illustrations are designed to offer different levels of experience. Some feature open and relaxing compositions with broad, accessible areas to color. Others incorporate deeper transformations, hidden details, double images, and scenes that invite the reader to pause, observe, and discover. The most elaborate pages function as true centerpiece illustrations: impossible worlds that can be explored visually before, during, and after coloring.
The purpose of FLG Surreal Discovery is not to fill every page with unnecessary detail. Its sophistication comes from the idea, composition, transformation, and discovery behind each scene. Every illustration is designed to maintain a balance between artistic beauty and coloring accessibility, using clear lines, defined spaces, and carefully controlled complexity.
The line was created for adults who enjoy art, fantasy, visual puzzles, imaginative worlds, and creative screen-free activities. It is also designed for those who want to find a personal moment of calm, focus, and artistic expression within their daily routines.
FLG Surreal Discovery is designed to inspire:
Creativity and imagination.
Observation and curiosity.
Focus through a calm, unhurried activity.
The pleasure of discovering hidden details.
The freedom to interpret each world through color.
The satisfaction of transforming a complex illustration into a personal work of art.
This collection does not seek to imitate any artist or reproduce known works. Its books are built around classic principles of composition, depth, perspective, balance, movement, and visual storytelling, applied through original concepts developed by FLG Creative Books.
Each scene has its own internal logic, atmosphere, and transformation. Mandalas and geometric patterns are not used as random decoration. They may become windows, moons, gardens, portals, plazas, domes, flowers, planets, or hidden structures within the world being represented.
The reader does not simply receive a collection of drawings. They receive a series of visual experiences that reward the first glance, the second look, and the entire coloring process.
The central promise of FLG Surreal Discovery can be summarized in one experience:
“I thought I had already understood the image… until I discovered something more.”
Through a variety of themed collections — impossible worlds, metamorphic nature, dream architecture, optical mandalas, surreal cities, hidden universes, cosmic landscapes, and journeys of the mind — FLG Creative Books aims to build a recognizable, original, and lasting line within the adult coloring book market.
Each book will be an invitation to enter a different reality, follow its paths, discover its secrets, and transform it through color.
FLG Surreal Discovery fully represents the creative philosophy of FLG Creative Books:
COLOR. FOCUS. DISCOVER. CREATE.
